Which media formats are available?

The AutLay solution can be used to output various media formats such as a letter or a postcard. Here you can learn about the differences in the design and application of the various formats.

As soon as you create a campaign in the AutLay solution, you have to decide on a media format. You can choose between single-sided and double-sided letters, as well as postcards for product presentation or text-only communication. If you are a customer of a print service provider that works with AutLay, you will also find the media formats offered by your print shop here. The following view shows the selection of media formats displayed upon creating a campaign in the native solution:

Depending on the type of campaign you want to run, it makes sense to choose a specific media format. If you want to address existing customers that have a purchase history and advertise corresponding products, a letter with a personal cover letter and an individual presentation of the recommended products is a good choice. If you want to react quickly or, for example, send a simple birthday voucher, the lean postcard works well. It can be set up more quickly than a letter and is a targeted lever for short-term campaigns or trigger-based communication.
