      Generate and add a QR code to your sendout

      Find out where in the AutLay solution a QR code can be generated from a URL and integrated in your sendout.

      At a Glance:

      1. Add a QR code element to the layout
      2. Specify the target URL

      For Personalization:

      • First, connect the data source with the URL information attribute
      • Select the attribute as the target for the QR code

      When configuring a layout in the Styling templates tab, it is possible to add a QR code using the New element button.

       

      2. Add a QR code element to the layout

      The target address is entered and saved in the window on the right. The QR code is then generated based on the URL.

       

      For Personalization:

      • First, connect the data source with the URL information attribute

      To personalize the QR code, a customer data source must be connected that contains an attribute with a URL. This must be selected as a placeholder in the QR code area during the set-up of the campaign. This allows the solution to generate the intended QR code for each recipient. The URL in the QR code tab acts as a fallback here if no individual URL is stored in the placeholder.

      • Select the attribute as the target for the QR code

      As you add a new campaign, you can select and save the Target URL attribute by clicking the QR code, in the Placeholder tab in the right-hand side window during the layout configuration step.
